For Project 4: Choose Your Own Webventure, I want to create a choose your own adventure murder mystery game, sort of heavily based on the boar game and subsequent film Clue.
Clue is not only one of my favorite childhood boardgames but also the movie os one of my favorite family movie night classics. My plan for my website is to have the beginning of the webventure start as an invitation to a fancy dinner party being held at an old mansion (classic beginning).
From then you would decide whether or not to go and once you arrive at the party the real choices and story would begin, leading to endings based on the choices you make.
I like that in the film Clue, they provide multiple endings in terms of who could be the killer and would like to incorporate that into my website. I would also like to lead the player astray with red herrings and easter eggs with the end goal being that they find one, if not all of the potential killers.
